Princess Royal Station South Australia's Premier Feedlot

South Australia is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Living and working here is a pleasure, and we're sure many of you would agree.

We know that we have a big local impact and have an important social responsibility towards both the environment and the community. It’s behind everything we do here, and we do everything we can to have a positive effect on our surroundings.

In this, we set ourselves apart from other feedlots.

We Are an Innovative, Aussie-Owned Feedlot

Our facility is classified as a Class 1 feedlot by the Environmental Protection Agency Standards, and we are accredited under the National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS).

We use innovation to bring advanced systems and practices to our feedlot.

We're always looking for new ways to improve our activities, like having a tempering mill which serves to make higher quality feed for our livestock. We also have an air-operated crush and drafting facilities that we utilise.

We Raise Premium Quality Beef

Our feedlot is designed to create an efficient, low-stress environment for our cattle. This is especially important during the induction and exit processes. As such, we are able to produce beef that goes beyond the Aus-Meat Minimum Standards for Grain Fed Beef, as well as the general requirements of NFAS Accreditation and the EUCAS.

We are also accredited by Meat Standards Australia - an endorser of premium quality.

Our MSA accreditation means that our beef products are the very best and that their tenderness, juiciness and flavour is of excellent quality.

We Care for Our Environment

At Princess Royal Station, we are proud to be a part of the mighty South Australian beef industry. Our great State is a beautiful place to live and work - and we’re always working to keep it that way.

We try to incorporate as many environmental considerations as possible.

This includes making efforts to reduce our water usage, air pollution, waste and power consumption. We also invest in ecosystem management and biodiversity protection, all while making efforts to protect the natural resources, wildlife and endangered species on our land.

Keeping our region as beautiful as possible is one of our main priorities. By ensuring our feedlot continues to be innovative and environmentally conscious, we help to ensure the future health and happiness of our cattle, as well as our environment.
